Review on GEWAGE Bike Stem Adjustable Handlebars by Gene Rosado

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Vertical posture and no numb hands!

I've wanted a tall stem since I first got on my e-bike, it's moped style with low, flat cafe style handlebars. I didn't like the position I was in, especially my hands complained on long rides. I received it last week, installed it myself and watched a few YouTube videos on stem riser replacement. It was really very simple and easy to make, took me about 30 minutes total. The ONLY problem was when I installed the top clamp that held the handlebars in place, 2 of the 4 screws were misaligned, I used a large screwdriver to wedge between the posts under the handlebar and turned them 1/ 4 to move. inches needed to line up the holes. My trip right after that was a dream! No longer hunched behind the wheel, I sit up straight, I drove 12 miles on very rough, dirt, mountainous roads with lots of rocks and hills. I had more control of my bike, feeling comfortable and precise, on the last mile I noticed my hands didn't hurt or go numb. I pushed this bike really hard, hopped on the handlebars, steered hard, tried to get it to do something it shouldn't and it held up, no slip, no noise, easy! This will fit the standard Ariel Rider handlebars. Electric bike 52V Xclass. I didn't have to extend any of the cables coming off my handlebars on this bike. My only request to the company is please post some YouTube videos for this product, it would be nice to see THIS installed.
