I got a new monitor for the holidays and the downside of this new monitor was that it is not adjustable which meant I would need a stand to elevate the monitor. What started out as a search for a simple, neatly designed stand got complicated when I found this *smart* stand. I liked the simple design, wireless charging, and multiple ports on the side. But $80 (at the time of purchase) seemed overpriced. I was also concerned that a number of reviews indicated that the data ports on the side didn't work and that wireless charging was slow. I expected to really like the design, but then it wouldn't work as advertised, which wouldn't justify the cost. In the beginning it was my experience. I plugged it in and the only thing that worked was wireless charging, and it was slow. But I noticed that there were two cables and two directions. you need both! After that it worked great. Great buy for functionality, looks and design. A NOTICE. The second picture shows that you actually need both cables and both connectors on the back of the device.
