I have a magnifying glass that looks like a mini microscope 60-120x but it is very difficult to use. It works like a charm and is all you need to know when to harvest. I was concerned that the large, highly visible 30x lens range wouldn't show enough, but that's exactly what you need to fully see your prized crops. I forgot I also had my cheap dollar store reading glasses but still very glad I bought them as I can easily see everything I need to see. Using a 60x loupe is a bit more difficult but still easier than using a 60x-120x mini microscope, especially if you're holding the plant with one hand.
