Do not be shy! It is great!

I wanted to write this because I was having a hard time deciding to buy these after reading some of the negative reviews. Quick review feel free! It is great! I just love these stools. All of you, I hope you will look at the photos. First, they are very strong and can withstand the maximum weight stated in the specifications. The color, finishes etc were absolutely beautiful. No scratches or dents. Just great! Second, there have been many complaints about how to do it. I really don't understand why. Each stool took about 10-15 minutes to complete but was simple and easy to put together. The only thing I suggest (which the instructions don't say) is to tap the crossbars with a hammer (with wood protection cloth). There may be a little gap between them, so don't worry about it because when you tighten the screw, it will finish tightening. A few other tips included. Do not overtighten the screws or the wood may crack. Follow the directions on where each leg goes (with red dots)! Somehow I missed the long first one and had to take it apart and fix it. Although my fault. I don't know how I missed that because it was obvious in the instructions. I didn't use wood glue as some have suggested. I don't think it's necessary. I used the key that came with the kit and had no problems. I wouldn't use power tools for fear of overtightening and crooked screws. I tried my cordless screwdriver on a screw but found that the screw went in a little crooked with it. In order to. That's all! These chairs are a great product at a great price. Do not be shy! I'm getting four more for my daughter's new home! (Note: I haven't installed the wooden dowels in the picture yet.)
