. Hunter lighter because I thought it would fit easily on a Hunter fan which comes without a light

I bought a Hunter lighter because I thought it would fit easily on a Hunter fit the fan that comes without a light. However, the base of the bracket is flat enough that the pull switch mechanism protrudes upward into what should be the base of the fan tray, except there's only a tiny hole in the center that can't accommodate the top of the switch. Using a hacksaw, cut a larger hole in the base of the fan to line it up, headache. Otherwise quality and looks are quite good.
