Review on Refreshing Konjac for Natural Fatigue Relief by Ogunjemilusi Cheatham

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not as exfoliating as dark pink, but still great!

Slightly softer than the deep pink konjac sponge. Konjac sponges are designed to be washed alone or with a facial cleanser. They are small and hard, but when wet they expand and become soft and absorbent. You should only brush your face with one of these when it is fully extended and soft. Konjac sponges gently exfoliate skin, and this one is more delicate than the deep pink mentioned earlier. I bought this after feeling my girlfriend's face when she used dark pink - her skin was incredibly soft and smooth. She has drier skin than me. Mine tends to oil. So I figured a French clay sponge would work best for me, but because it's softer my skin doesn't peel as much and is therefore not as incredibly soft. However, I would rate it a five if I hadn't tried another before because it works great. I always use it with my face wash because I wear makeup. In combination with the facial tonic, this sponge removes the smallest blob of make-up. Rinses off easily, leaves no makeup residue and literally leaves my skin glowing. It only takes a minute to swell with water, so I use that time to remove my eye makeup. When showering or bathing in high humidity, it remains slightly damp and fluffy. After a while, you should either take it out to dry it completely or re-microwave it to get rid of any bacterial growth that may have developed while it was wet. I don't leave mine in the shower so it can dry out after each use, and it never showed any signs of bacterial growth, mold, or a bad odor (and it's odorless, so you might notice). I recommend this or the darker Pink Konjac for a gentle yet deep cleanse.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
