Ideal for 2015 GMC Sierra 2500hd

These bulbs have a major impact on side lighting, which is not present on the 2500hd with stock headlights and halogen bulbs. Now I can see pedestrians on the sidewalk in dark places without being blinded by oncoming traffic. I saw in another review that they are not bright enough. It is important to remember that fog lights should not be too bright, but rather diffuse. If you want something really bright you will have to replace it entirely as the LED bulb upgrade will not work in a standard fixture. I really like the yellow switch option. I expect them to work when I need them for snow and fog. For my car there is not much information about the installation. I can help you there: The best thing to do is pull the front fog lights out of the bumper. It's easier than you think and absolutely easier than working from behind. Both sides are almost the same, but on the passenger side, the metal support frame behind the lamp/light needs to be shortened a bit. Do the driver's side first to give you a look before doing the extra work on the passenger side. All snap.1. Remove the decorative ring around the lantern by squeezing the four retaining clips on the back of the ring. A little push, twist and pull on the ring should do the trick, but I also used a thin flathead screwdriver on the back under the bumper to loosen the clips. This should only take a minute or two.2. Removing the fog lights will make you nauseous. There are two mounting posts at the top and one at the bottom. The lower one has a star wheel to adjust the lamp up and down. As long as you don't move this wheel, no adjustment is required. Gently pull the bottom of the lamp forward until it "pops" out of the bracket. You can use a long screwdriver to get a little leverage on the back, but of course be careful. Same goes for the top ones, but focus on only one post at a time and I recommend doing the outer post first. That's right - it's free! I suggest using some WD-40 on the racks when reinstalling to get them coming back.3. The bulbs are a bit sticky when working (I've read that from others too). Just be patient and slowly rock them by pressing the latches. To be honest, old lightbulbs suck so much that I broke the tab off the lightbulb and threw it away anyway. Just don't damage the bracket.4. When installing new lamps, several guide pins must be aligned before the new elements are pressed in. I also found it helpful to use a cotton swab with some WD-40 to clean the channel holding the lamp o-ring to clean the channel on the light fixture. Then wipe off the excess with a clean cotton swab. Do not allow WD-40 to enter the device. While pressing the new element, wiggle it slightly until the latches on each side of the element snap into place.5. Plug in the power connector (remember you will need to secure the extra cable - see below). Check it to make sure it's lit. Then push everything back into the bumper. You need to attach the linear actuator to the frame. I used a zip tie and attached the driver to the frame myself. On the passenger side, you need to cut off a small corner of the subframe that touches the rear edge of the bulb. This will likely affect any aftermarket LED bulb; not only this one. You can use a Dremmel with a cutting wheel to get to the open hole where the jig was removed to do the basic cutting and then smooth out any sharp edges by replacing the grinding wheel with a stone wheel. You'll need to remove about 1/2 inch deep and 1 inch wide, and none of them serve any structural purpose. It seemed to me that the easiest way was to cut it diagonally and not square. I suggest using some touch up paint or any colored nail polish you like to protect the raw metal from rusting. The glitter in the color adds a nice touch. My headlight bulb recommendations: 9012 LED headlight bulbs, AUXITO HIR2 9012 LED, 6500K Xenon White, 2-pack https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07WYL1P47/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00 ?ie=UTF8&psc= one
