We love the Stride Rite, even if it's barely noticeable against the skin. The back is particularly healing where my niece who is 2.5 years old had cuts and ulcers after using them one day. She doesn't want to wear them anymore. For which I don't blame her one bit, because that's the most painful experience. Perhaps offer healing gels or sponges for toddler feet that fit in leather shoes.
