Simple and Accurate!: Parts and Accessories

I've recently started looking into cigars and one of my top priorities has been finding a good, inexpensive hygrometer (after a humidor, of course). I saw that Inkbird released ITH-10 not long ago, so I decided to give it a try. I have been using an Inkbird Itc-308 2-Step 1100W Digital Thermostat Output with Sensor in my Keezer for several years and have been very happy with its performance and accuracy. Inkbird has applied the same ease of use and accuracy to the ITH-10. My first test of the ITH-10 was to place it in my aged humidor with a standard analog hygrometer reading the ideal 70% humidity level. After 6 hours the ITH-10 showed a humidity of 54%. At that moment I knew that either the analog hygrometer or the ITH-10 was not working. To find out, I placed both the analog hygrometer and the ITH-10 in a ziplock bag containing a 60g Boveda 75% RH bag. I tested it after 12 and 24 hours. The photos speak for themselves. The analog hygrometer showed a staggering 88% humidity and the ITH-10 showed 76% at both the 12 hour and 24 hour marks. The 1% difference is well within the 3% allowable stated on the packaging and in the ITC-10 documentation. The analog hygrometer is of course thrown away and the ITH-10 has earned its place as a hygrometer for my humidor and my new hobby. Some other features of the ITH-10 that I like are min and max buttons to see if extreme temperature and/or humidity changes are occurring, easy battery replacement and the included velcro to attach to desired location fasten it.
