Let me start by saying that I have several Lucky Line quick release key fobs and they are the BEST that I have found; Nickel-plated brass. The 1 inch rings I got here thought they were of equal quality and they are not bad. But for me they are too loose. A few months ago I received a 50 piece Miayon split keychain. 25mm nickel plated (also seem to be called Bluecell) and they are excellent but I couldn't send them to Thailand anymore so I searched the internet and got more from South Africa of all places. This company said they were made in the US or that the company was based in the US but I couldn't find either Miayon or Bluecell with a quick search. In any case, they're a little under an inch at .98 inches, they're tight and they look great for it. The Lucky Line rings also look good and they say they are nickel plated but they do NOT look as good as the rings that come with their awesome quick release key ring. Get this if you want one of these. They can be bought in pairs. Last word. These rings are ok but loose and not as good as the 25mm I got under the then name Miayon.
