Review on Mallofusa Assembly 3085267 Polaris 1996 2003 by Daniel Jenkins

This is a universal part for various years of Polaris snowmobiles. Because of this, it's not quite the same as the one I had in 1997, which didn't have a sight glass and fill/drain plug for the internal oil level. The 1997 model is self-lubricating, so it doesn't need topping up. Everything is fine, but the pump must come with a plug to fill the oil filler hole. If you need to add oil to the water pump on your snowmobile, you can use an old plug and plug it into this unit. However, if your old pump (like mine) didn't have a filler plug, you'll need to go out and find one. I went to NAPA and needed to buy an oil drain plug to fit this pump. The pump works well but should have come with all the necessary parts so 4 stars.
