I was skeptical about this dummy until I finally bought the bullet and got it. No dummy can truly replace a human to practice on, but I must say this helps me fill the gap in terms of training on days when I don’t have a partner. I can practice throws on it, but to my pleasant surprise it works even better as a makeshift body to practice side mount, knee on belly, and mount drills on. My reaction and speed for positional changes and submissions have increased a lot because of just drilling on this dummy daily. I only got the 75 lb because it’s dead weight and I want to work more on muscle memory for throws as opposed to actual strength. I train enough in full contact to keep my strength high enough. My recommendation is to get lighter weight if you want to work on form and muscle memory because remember, after every throw you have to pick this thing up.
