Review on 🩹 3M Tegaderm Transparent Dressing with Label, 4x4.75 inches (10x12 cm), 50 per Box, Item #1626W by Dustin Berry

I bought them for different purposes: firstly I use them to protect the patch from pain so it doesn't come off at the edges and also to protect it in the shower. These movies are the best for that! They're completely sheer from edge to edge and lie flat against my skin so they won't peel off mid-wear. One of the things I've always appreciated about 3M's Tegaderm - and the reason I'll NEVER settle for products from other brands - is that it's completely waterproof. I never have to worry about a little drip getting under the rim and breaking the seal. They are absolutely reliable and I always know that they will do exactly what I need. Another reason I bought these is because I have a powered triple lumen catheter and Tegaderm dressings that my DME ships with my Weekly Access Kit, is not large enough to cover my port when I have access to 2 or have 3 lumens just for one. For this purpose, these films are not that effective. I personally prefer a dressing with a midline window, so a Tegaderm sheet with a Medipore window on the edge. It just allows me to see better where the dressing edges are in relation to the port lumen to ensure my dressing is fully occlusive. I know this seems to be a very picky personal preference, but you can never be too careful with the midline and it's very important to make sure not to expose any part of my hotspots. With a fully transparent film, this becomes very difficult. It is not clear from the photos of this product on the site whether it has a windowed Medipore border or not. But since I really needed a completely transparent film for the pain patch, that wasn't a big problem. I just ordered window film from another seller. But it would be nice if in the future this seller could post a photo of this film out of the box so we can see that there are no limits. Thank you! =
