Amazing - better than bandages!

The best thing ever invented! I only recently discovered this gem and am now a firm believer in it. I'll tell anyone who will listen about Tegaderma. I recently fell badly and scratched my knee badly. After using this I could see the wound healing before my eyes! It's been 2 weeks since the injury and she's almost completely healed. This is the fastest recovery I've ever seen. This is all without scab. It's waterproof, flexible and breathable while allowing your skin's natural moisture to heal…

Excellent product: gauze and pads

This tape is a lifesaver! I wear a medicated patch for severe pain. Unfortunately, this is a Schedule II drug, so I can only refill it one day or the other if it should run out. However, it has to stay 3 days, which is sometimes not possible. Sometimes it itches, sometimes I sweat or my clothes rub against it. All of this will bring him down. And if it's too early to glue the next one, I'm done! Recently, at the recommendation of the patch manufacturer, I put a Tegaderm dressing over the…

Preparation is key to product effectiveness

These patches can be very effective for a variety of uses, from covering the area to prevent contamination to what I use them for, ensuring that my patches for pain heal stay dry and clean. However, if the skin in the application area is not properly prepared before application, they will not adhere properly and will be useless. Unfortunately, 3M does not instruct its customers on how to properly apply these coatings. Very simply, all you have to do is thoroughly clean the entire area of skin…

Like those cheap donuts from yesterday. many, but their age can be an issue.

CONCLUSION: the price is worth the purchase if the defects are not a problem PRO::) Price - You will not find anything in this price range in the local pharmacy. Price and quantity bribed me. :) Made in the USA - For those of you who are interested in such things :) Ease of Use - Application is as easy as paper backing. CONS::( Durability - Both times I've ordered these I've felt like they were "old" and the adhesive has suffered. Be prepared for it to be peeling around the edges, even if you…

Glue them up! on Bandages & Bandages

I have severe chronic pain and use a prescription pain relief patch whose adhesive is basically useless when it gets wet either from sweat or swimming (just so I can exercise) and showering. My skin was scabbed, torn, and bleeding from every hospital plaster known to man. I was about to put tape on when I told my daughter they would be sending bio-occlusives. with patches, but stopped 5 years ago. She said what about Tegaderm? (We are both nurses) I said we had to go to the health store and she

This is a Miracle - Bandages and Bandages

This is AMAZING but very expensive. Yes, you can actually take a shower with it. And it's NOT like a band-aid if the wound stays moist and uncomfortable and your skin turns pale and wrinkled. It really covers and protects the wound and allows it to heal! Emergency kit, purse, etc. But don't forget the gauze pad. The version of Tegaderm that includes the gauze pad is only for the very wealthy or hospitals that can afford to buy them by the thousands and fetch a lower price point in my humble…

If you have a pain relief patch, this product is for you.

They are great for keeping my bandage from hurting. I like this size as it easily covers my sore spot with lots of "overhang". I sweat a lot when I work (HVAC) in the summer and extra coverage on my patch helps a lot to keep the patch in place. Sometimes some of the sides come loose from sweat and I can just cut off the loose sections and my sore band will still be protected. I only gave it 4 stars because every once in a while I get one that the edges don't stick well to my skin and it peels…

Great quality for the price

I bought them for different purposes: firstly I use them to protect the patch from pain so it doesn't come off at the edges and also to protect it in the shower. These movies are the best for that! They're completely sheer from edge to edge and lie flat against my skin so they won't peel off mid-wear. One of the things I've always appreciated about 3M's Tegaderm - and the reason I'll NEVER settle for products from other brands - is that it's completely waterproof. I never have to worry about a…
