When I bought these slippers they fit perfectly, almost a bit big but it was ok. I left them on the back steps, where they fell into direct sunlight for two days in a row. It was in the 90's. As I slipped my feet in, they shrank so much that my heel now went behind the back of the shoe. I shut them out again and they lost even more weight. My feet did not swell or grow. I call them incredibly shrinking shoes. They now fit my wife so she has a new pair of garden slippers.
