I wouldn't exactly call it an exfoliating loofah. My skin is tougher than most, so take what I say with a grain of salt. I used a soft sponge inside the hemp bag so it's very hard. I would order it again but it fell apart too quickly. This loofah can be good for those who are just starting to exfoliate their skin or for those who don't want something that harsh.
