These cables take magnetic charging to the next level

100W. 10Gbps. Strong magnets. There really isn't anything to say that can't be summed up by the cable's performance, but I wanted to write a review to give more legitimacy to my star rating. I have used other magnetic cables before. This is a worthwhile upgrade as there is no reason to disable them. If you've also used magnetic USB in the past, you might be wondering how they got such incredible specs in this device. Simple: The adapter mimics the shape of a regular USB-C connector by simply expanding it and surrounding it with magnets. Brilliant! All parts of this product are of impressively high quality. Unlike some USB cables, there is no visual indication of "top" and "bottom" on either part. The product is completely unbranded, which I like. The fit of the cables to my devices is great, I would even say "perfect". You can measure your phone's case size to make sure the adapter will fit (13mm wide x 8mm high), but it only reaches that width 1.5mm from the device, so it fits my devices. The straight-through cable is powerful and robust, but that's a necessary side effect of any 100-watt 10Gb/s cable. Only one end of the cable has a magnetic adapter, but that's how it was advertised. The end without magnets isn't as massive (0.5 cm high and 1.2 cm wide), which is good for the annoying recessed ports. Of course you can connect the angle adapter to the non-magnetic end of the cable by creating a cable with magnetic breakers on both ends. The ends of the cable are metal but have rubber tabs to make it easier to pull the cable out of the device. Attention to detail is excellent here; The burrs on the magnetic USB end are less pronounced as it is much easier to tear off. The only real downside to this cable is the material used to cover the length of the cable. It's a very sticky rubber, similar to the rubber used for the feet on the bottom of my laptop. It has such a strong frictional grip that even the slightest touch of the tether will DISCONNECT the magnetic end. I see the advantage that the cord is likely to snag on the edge of the table as well, but I prefer the braided sheath around my old magnet cords. But that brings us to the angle adapter. This thing is incredibly useful because it allows you to use any cable you want. If your main purpose of a magnetic USB connector is to charge your smartphone, you don't need the full power of 100W or 10Gbps every day. You can use a thinner and more flexible cable with an angled adapter to increase the power of your phone to increase. This allows your cables to be connected to your devices remotely, which is very convenient and very cool. And since the magnets in this cable are designed for 100W cable, this effect is even more noticeable! Unfortunately, the angled plug has a small disadvantage: it only lights up when it is plugged in at both ends. Most magnetic USB connectors have an LED to help you find and plug in the cable in the dark. However, the LED on this angled connector is only used to indicate the secure connection to the device. The light will not turn off when the device is charging. I would prefer a dual color LED where white helps you find the wire in the dark and then turns green when the wire is plugged in at both ends. Maybe it just wasn't possible due to space requirements. For recording, the straight cable has no LED, which I really appreciate since its main purpose is laptop charging and high-speed data transfer. It's thick enough to have to be manually leveled so it doesn't turn itself off and can't be used in total darkness to try to charge a smartphone. I just received it so don't know about durability yet. I like them so much that I'm already considering ordering more angle adapters.
