Ideal for fitting a through the wall pet door - easy installation - all you need

Great addition to a pet door product. A carpenter friend and I installed two of these devices in the "cat house" my mom built next to her new home. The goal is for the cats to have a place to go without letting them all in the house. The cat house measures 12 x 12 and looks the same as the main house. It's in the countryside and I wanted to make sure that no wild animals would come in and trap my cats in the cat house on the opposite wall, so I installed two pet doors on opposite sides of the building to always give the cats an escape route. Route. Pet doors were installed through the wall with insulation in the wall. The wall insert was very easy to snap into place and then insert into the hole in the wall. MAKE SURE YOU MARK EVERYTHING AROUND (OUTSIDE) TO MARK EACH PIECE WHEN YOU ASSEMBLE THEM TO SEE HOW BIG YOUR USE SHOULD BE TO JOIN YOUR WALL! YOU WILL ONLY WANT TO REMOVE (REMOVE) THE EXCESS PLASTIC ON THE RELEVANT SIDES OF EACH PART! If you don't do this, you can easily remove the wrong part and then the parts will not connect properly and you will not be able to use it. We had to cut about 2 inches off each of the long screws to get them to the perfect length. Two people are required to attach each side of the pet door. One inside and one outside to hold the pieces and align the screws properly so they screw properly into the holes on the back of the pet door frame. It took us about an hour to cut the main opening in the wall on both sides; Drill holes for screws in all 4 corners and mount installation structure; cut screws; and screw everything together. The second took about half the time, which is natural because you already know what you're doing on the second.
