My friends laughed at me. I travel a lot and can't fly. I need to bring special food. I removed part of the back seat of my truck and put a freezer in it. I made a quick connection with bungee cords and it connects to the truck's DC power supply. My laptop uses more power than this freezer. When I go to the hotel, I take it out of the truck, bring it to the hotel room and plug it into the mains. Quiet, precise temperature control. My family and friends laughed at me at first, now they want it and want me to help with the installation. I don't have time to go through this. I bought an extended warranty, which I never do. I also bought a jacket and if you travel with it you will need it. It was great and it allows me to follow a special diet and travel. One of the reasons I mention this is that some people need to carry and travel with certain medications or diets. I've attached a picture and it shows him sitting in the back of my GM truck. You can open the back door of the truck, lift the lid of the freezer and get what you want. Fast, easy and convenient. Maybe this will help someone. I also save a lot of money by taking my own food with me, and I'd rather eat and snack in a hotel room than spend time in a restaurant where I can catch a nasty bug. It happens. The freezer is not a refrigerator. I keep this setting at 0 degrees Fahrenheit. Good product. 11/08/2016 As a supplement, I still use this freezer. A few people made fun of me traveling with it, and then I got questions about how to turn it on and install it in my Avalanche. Several people want to do it now. I think I got the last laugh. It was a great product and I would buy another if needed.
