Cheap construction and materials
The shower head was great until it broke. Bought a year ago, this weekend the chrome plastic hose at the bottom of the shower head broke exposing the inner rubber hose. Then, another day, the inner hose burst because when the shower is on, the water pressure increases the thickness of the hose about three times until it ruptures in the middle of the shower. I'm not sure what plastic the outer tube is made of, but I'm disappointed it didn't last long after 1 year of use.
