I rarely, if ever, review items that I have purchased online. I so love these shoes that I had to write this. I have a pair of Oboz hiking boots that I purchased several years ago and was highly impressed. I purchased these shoes because I knew that they would be comfortable and also knew they would have a good tread. Outside in snowy and icy Indiana can be treacherous to maneuver and I purchased these shoes for that reason. Like others have mentioned, there is no break-in period, your feet are completely dry, the tread is great on snow and ice and they are incredibly comfortable. I know I can wear these if I ever go hiking, but I can also wear these to work. They are pricey, but you really do get what you pay for. In this case, you will get a great pair of shoes.
