I had three requirements for a pitcher: 1) it had to be large enough to hold several people, 2) it didn't have to be glass so it didn't have to be out in the patio area is used and 3) it must have a plate, also because it is used outside. This option meets all the requirements and also looks quite stylish. We use it to store ice cold water while we work outside. Looking at the options, I was surprised that many of them just aren't big enough to avoid having to keep refilling. This is the perfect size. I am very satisfied with this pot and can only recommend it!
