I just built a new house and used what I and many others consider to be the best pre-wiring. I chose the GLS cable due to the value and feedback of my connections to my wall panels from my amp. I was shocked at the quality of these wires. They are just as good if not better than the pre cable I use which is your top brand audio cable. I wish I had bought that for the pre-wiring as well. The strength of the wire is right, as is the quality. Save the money I wasted and buy any quality speaker cable you need. You will not be disappointed. As with other reviews questioning the positive and negative differences. This is incorrect. The positive wire is the only one with an inscription on the sheath. If you can't read this, it's not her fault. I have had no problems and cannot say enough good things about this product.
