Review on Joseph 80067 Hydration Tracking Consumption 20 Ounce by Sally Romero

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I love the bottle but hate the missing cap.

Something wonderful in this bottle. It's big enough to hold enough water, but not so big that the water heats up before you can drink it. Also not so big that it is heavy or bulky. Problem: The cap is too easy to lose or misplace. There should be 1) an option to buy extra caps, or 2) a hole in the cap so people can attach the cap to the bottle with a chain or string. The bottle can be used without the lid when you're standing still, but even then it tips over too easily and I've spilled water so many times it's driving me crazy. I even bought a second bottle, but the cap flew off, was lost too. Maybe it's me, but I've seen other reviewers complain about the same thing. The bottle is beautiful but you need to somehow attach the cap OR sell the caps separately. Otherwise, the entire purpose of the bottle will fly out the window along with the cap. I still recommend this bottle, for some reason it's one of the most comfortable water bottles I've found. BUT beware of this shortcoming. You will use this bottle in temporary conditions, in nature, on a picnic, on the road. If you stop, you can use a beautiful glass pitcher and a crystal goblet. The whole purpose of this is to be easy to put on and go, BUT if used on the go, even at home, the loose cover is lost. I like to keep it on my bedside table or desk, but the missing lid doesn't let me. The first few times I accidentally tripped over it, spilled water on papers, books, and/or charged my phone, I thought, "Wow! You have to be careful!'" But it happens so often that I eventually came to terms with the fact that this bottle without a cap is no better than a glass of water. Perhaps worse because it's light and unweighted. This makes it great and easy to wear but ONLY if you have a cap *If I find a way to purchase replacement caps I will update my review.
