better than alcohol
so the drain cleaning kit i got is pretty good. better than alcohol, so that's a bonus. As far as I can tell there is no aftertaste left after washing the product thoroughly and it will not ruin the finish or colour. My pieces have been well used so I have to soak them overnight - and there is still a heavy crust around the bowl - and they smoke like new. in general I would recommend.
