FIRST. IF YOU NEED TO BUY SOMETHING PRODUCED BY SONNET, GET IT! Don't buy from any other company (unless it's Apple). Sonnet has been making Mac stuff since the early days of the Mac, I've bought boards from them back in the Apple Quadra 950 days and their stuff has always worked great, EVERY TIME, 100% ERROR FREE! I had to update 2 of my 2010's. Silver MacPro 12 Core and bought 2 of these each to keep my SSDs running at top speed (500MB R/W, with Apple SATA they were at 250MB R/W) and they got the job done with no complications, easy to install and works on both Mac OSX Snow Leopard (for FCP7 and Studio 3 Compressor use) and macOS Mojave (for iOS development). /VR.), engineer and developer of applications for Apple iOS. and should work in both Snow Leopard and the latest macOS (now Mojve). I need Snow Leopard for my main client who needs temp tables and MPEG1 (not possible in FCPX) and Mojave for iOS app development. AND ALSO. I have 2 12-core MacPro "Cheese Grate" 2010 models.
