I bought this mat for my new Scan 'n Cut DX model SDX125. I wanted to scan large objects and then crop them awkwardly. I've had Scan 'n Cut for a few months now so I'm familiar with changing settings etc. I changed the settings to a 12 x 24 matte but it wouldn't accept the matte when I tried to scan. I tried a number of things from Brother's troubleshooting section on their website. Made sure the top characters were clean (it's a new mat), made sure my scanner glass was clean, but still couldn't get it to work. I want to get a solution. UPDATE: Just got off the phone with my brother. In addition to their website showing that the Scan'nCut DX-SDX125 is being discontinued, they told me that the 12 x 24 mat is for cutting only; DO NOT SCAN!
