I still think the manufacturers could work a little harder on these things, but they work well. The sticky material requires constant attention, and the backing can be a bit firmer or thicker. They scratch quite easily, but I love my car so I can tolerate floor mats.

Allegedly only made for Brother Scanncut SDX125E and other DX machines. However, after three hours of trying to use my exciting new 24 inch mat, my device does not scan, cut or recognize the mat. Now I want to act like a baby, throw myself on the floor and throw a real tantrum. There was no problem with the 12 x 12 mat that came with the machine.

I have a scanned and cut DX model of sdx85c that says it can cut 12x24 and even has the option to change it to that matte size but unfortunately these mattes will not suitably recognized and cannot be loaded. Obviously I don't recommend these mats if you have a DX scan and cut. Not sure what these mats are for, what machines they will work on as they say they will be DX scanned and cut but clearly will not work for DX scanning.

I needed more DX mats as the mats lose their stickiness pretty quickly and I'm always happy to know I have the materials needed for a project ahead of time so I have ordered these mats for this purpose. I bought this mat for my new Scan 'n Cut DX model SDX125. I wanted to scan large objects and then crop them awkwardly. I've had Scan 'n Cut for a few months now so I'm familiar with changing settings etc. I changed the settings to a 12 x 24 matte but it wouldn't accept the matte when I tried to scan. I was hesitant at first because of the review but it looks and works like the original Brother Pad, I think other reviews may not have noticed this for Scanncut DX, i.e. for use with 125 dx and 225 dx, NOT for Scanncut 1 or 2. This should not be reflected on the seller but on the product itself. The standard mat is so sticky that it ruins the cardstock paper. I literally had to scrape the paper off because it stuck so badly. I still haven't removed all the paper. The whole sheet I cut out was ruined. Then it goes well about 5 times with a weak turn, then nothing sticks to it anymore. I have to stand next to my car and hold the paper so it doesn't come off the mat. USED DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS: The first item was defective immediately upon unboxing due to a known manufacturing issue and the second item (sent as a replacement) arrived USED and OPENED - NO SHIPPING BOX.
