Review on Motive Gear R9 75FRL Bearings 99 5 OCT 2011 by Michael Briggs

I started out trying to buy bearings/chains separately from local parts stores. After sending everything back because they kept giving wrong sizes (this was before disassembly) I saw this kit on Amazon. I noticed that this company offers two kits. The description says the cheaper kit has KOYO bearings while the more expensive kit has TIMKEN bearings. I bought a cheaper KOYO. When I received my kit, the outer (smaller) gear bearing and ring were KOYO, but the inner (larger) gear bearing and main bearing and rings were TIMKEN! When I took the diff apart I found that all of the original bearings were EXACTLY the same as the set, both in terms of make and part numbers! Everything was an exact OEM replacement! This kit made it easy to get all the parts you NAOOOO need. In addition, it came with a gear seal, two gear nuts (different pitch), a brush and marker paste to check for wear patterns. I would give this set 10 stars I could! Thank you MOTIVE GEAR for putting together this amazing kit that saves you all the hassle of traveling to parts stores and then back for an exchange/refund. MOTIVE GEAR are PROFESSIONALS and know their stuff. You can't go wrong with this set. FYI, my truck has a 2000 F150 4x4 9.75" limited slip differential. Buy it!
