The goods arrived quickly, the first impression is excellent. The scanner itself makes a high-quality impression and is by no means poor or cheap. I was pleasantly surprised that it charged fully and turned on quickly without being plugged into the mains. This is already a big upgrade over my other scanner. I quickly set up the scanner to access my WiFi, registered my product and installed all updates. For now, after all the updates (and my slow internet connection), it has been working for 45 minutes to an hour. The battery only dropped to 98%, great! The device has a touchscreen that feels great. It looks like an iPhone and they have the same menu. You can either use the touch screen or the buttons on the right for each task. It seems convenient, it seems unnecessary, but hey, it's there and it works. My first task was to read the airbag code on a 2012 Silverado. I connected the truck, it quickly read the VIN number. After answering a few questions such as "manual transmission yes/no", a detailed status report was created. Along with the airbag code, he provided a description of the code and what the error meant. B0083 Impact Sensor 1 Front Left; 0F Incorrect sensor readings. No more Googling what the numbers mean. (Another great feature my old scanner didn't have). He also retrieved codes from the past that have been corrected. For example the wheel speed sensor that was disconnected when braking a week ago and forgot to connect it immediately. I was able to remove them from history, but I need to fix the airbag sensor before it goes away. The next task was resetting the oil service light on a 2011 Audi A4. Not only did he do it, he reset the service interval! I thought only an Audi special tool could do that. Not only did this reset it, but it allowed me to extend the service warning so it wouldn't bother me for another 3 years! (We used to have to drive an Audi 45 minutes from our house once a year to reset the alert.) This feature was not advertised but is possible with this device. The color convinced me! So far I am very impressed with the device and very happy with my purchase. It's worth the investment if you work on your cars yourself as much as possible. I hate taking the car out for something as simple as a brake because there isn't an easy way to remove the e-brake.
