I want to be as honest as possible so I'll start. My husband works in construction in New England. Hot summers, wet winters make feet and boots smell absolutely disgusting. When he walks through the door, he smells the whole living room and kitchen, even before he takes off his boots. So you can imagine how awful it is when he actually deletes them. Body odor, toe jam, stale swamp water and pus from an infected wound mixed with a drop of vinegar. If you are interested. I can't always leave them outside because of the weather. So I did a little research and found them and thought I'd give it a try. Thank god I did. Every day when he comes home he puts one in each of his shoes. There has been no smell since use. Even the closet doesn't smell a bit. difference between day and night. I recently sold my house and am living on rent until I find my forever home. My liter crate used to be in the basement, so I never had to deal with its smell. Living here I have nowhere to put it except in the toilet in the bathroom. My cat meows and knocks on the door for me to let her in if she has to leave, so I always clean up the poo right away. Even with a clean liter box after a shower, the steam intensified the smell of a liter can. I did some research and bought a liter box of Cat It Carbon which works great on its own. But since charcoal bags work so well, I attached a hook to a liter crate and hung one up there. The box is big enough that it doesn't get in the way. I actually have to open the box now to look for poop instead of knowing when it's gone. If you have odor issues, buy this. I can't stress enough how well this works.
