I have an 85 pound dog that I rescued from Alaska. He's the meanest big animal I've ever had. He waits until we're in bed to climb onto the furniture, then drags it to get himself into a 'comfort position'. We never managed to catch him on the couch. He's very smart and I think we could train him to stay away from furniture, but we couldn't catch him in the act. After a long research and price comparison, I decided on this carpet. It was so much more profitable than any other option that I just had to try it. I'm grateful that I gave him a chance. It works like a charm, with the added bonus of keeping my large dog and cat off the couch at night. For the price I will continue to buy this rug when I need to keep my critters off furniture.
