I am not one of those people who are afraid to purchase clothes and shoes online. I have to admit I have had pretty good luck when I purchase things because I read reviews. This dress has great reviews and after purchasing it, I'm adding mine. I'm 5'5 120ish# but very hippy - pear shaped which I find sometimes hard to find things that I feel confident in. Well, when I put this dress on I felt like I was 25 again. It is comfortable, flattering, made of good material and just above my knees where I like it at my age. I'm 51 years old and I don't want to look too young nor do I want to look old with my clothing choices. This dress will look great on anyone at any age and any size. Like I said I have a pear shape but I think it will work for all shapes - apple, when you tie it is does gather so I think that will draw away from the stomach area along with the tie an if you are lacking hips, again I think because of the tie it will draw the waist in. You won't regret purchasing this dress.
