Please investigate. for key inserts

Well I received this item thinking it would be easy to make but unfortunately fate had other plans. I don't know why but when I tried to program a new key fob it triggered my car's anti-theft system. I have a 2013 Chevy Cruz. I followed the instructions to "t" but my car kept giving me the middle finger. I had to lock, unlock, open the door, lock, unlock to disable my anti-theft device and start over. Many times. So I had this "aha" moment and decided to change my circuits. The new keychain gave me no problems. However, my old keychain decided to make fun of me. I couldn't see the old keychain. It was like super glue. I even managed to pierce the thumb of my left hand with a screwdriver. Ouch. Bleeding and frustrated, I decided to go to the garage and "YES" my old key fob. To my horror, it bounced multiple times on the hard concrete, not a single scratch on it. I did this 7 times before finally giving way to the treasure within. I swapped the innards and it finally worked. Bottom line: if you want to buy this, take it to the dealer for programming if it doesn't work for you. Otherwise just take a key case. Perhaps my machine was too old, too stubborn to accept a new program from me. Hope if you buy this it will work for you. Just do your research. Don't be like me and cut yourself with a screwdriver.
