These are my favorite "first spoons" - they are also one of my favorite gifts for new moms. The spoon shape is perfect for small mouths. The material is soft but hard enough to be eaten with a silicone spatula, for example. Another additional advantage of the material is the easy removal of the last bits of food from the containers. Overall very happy with my purchase.
