Great product, not cheap at all!

Although I am a physiotherapist, studied intensively for years, worked on computers, worked manually with patients and had a lot of activity, my posture was not the best. This bandage is very well made, the adjustable straps are velcro which doesn't seem very stiff or strong but it fits the bill. The whole concept revolves around proprioception (in this case, sensing your muscles and joints and sensitizing your brain to that sensitivity), so it's actually a reminder to keep your posture more upright. If you bend over too much, it cuts under your armpits, which you'll definitely notice. It is very important to be aware of my posture during any type of work or movement (computer, sports, walking) and this orthosis has given me the impetus to return to good posture and no back pain. I also have a pinch in my left shoulder that made me want to defend and roll forward. Although my muscles ached in spots, this brace also helped correct my left and right imbalances. Along with proper stretching and strengthening, this brace has been a lifesaver. I wore it 5 days (1 work week) for 9-10 hours and then intermittently for a few days as needed (only at home or for work if I can wear a sweatshirt over it). I wear a t-shirt underneath. I'm lucky enough to wear a smock to work and can wear a zip up sweatshirt so I'm hiding it, not sure if it can be worn under a work shirt or something thinner. While carrying (especially when running errands) I try not to carry a purse with me, which can lead to bad posture anyway. Because there's some sort of force pushing your shoulders down and back, your pecs and anterior deltoids will be overloaded trying to keep the bag on your shoulder, so drop everything and trust me, you will feel it. I'm so glad I found this and it's very well made, durable and well worth the price. Unfavorable? Yes, a little, but I would trade the pain, weakness, burning sensation, headache and all the horrible aches and pains I've experienced before for a little bit of discomfort any day! Size M fits me perfectly, I'm 5ft 4in, 125lbs, bust 34/36B, small chest. Thank you Equifit! Sometimes even healers need someone to heal them :)
