It's horrible to use this to extend a gaming headset. The audio sounds good, but this extension cord has terrible crosstalk. For example, everything sounds fine at your end (the end with the cable), but everyone else in your group hears their own conversation as an echo because the cable pulls everything they say through the left and right audio channels. and directs it back into the microphone channel, causing them to hear themselves in the echo. Removing the cable from the equation fixes the problem, so I know it's the cable. Bought two of these cables and they both do the same thing. Lowering the voice volume in games helps some, but to bring it down to an acceptable level you need to turn the voice volume down too low to understand what your teammates are saying with game volume. All in all, I would not recommend this cable. I gave this two stars simply because it sounds ok from you, but removed three stars because the whole point of buying it was to use it during the party, which is just a headache for everyone else due to crosstalk.
