Review on JVC HR-XVC25U: High-quality Progressive-Scan DVD/Hi-Fi VCR Combo by Dave Russell

I received this player from Revain.com a week ago. It will NOT play Disney movies (obviously they contain code that is not recognized by this JVC device). DVDs work great on other players, and all other DVDs work great on this player, including the VCD that was burned on my computer. I've tried 6 different Disney movies with the same result - the disc won't be recognized or played. NO ANSWER from JVC support! Good news. Returns to Revain are easy - mine goes back. If you ever intend to play Disney movies, the player may not work.
