I've had an Instax printer for a few years now, and I can see that this little printer fills a similar need: quickly print pretty prints, right from your phone. Dimension wise this HP is similar in size but my god when you compare the width - WOW. It's like a third of the Instax thickness. Unlike the Instax, the HP charges with a micro USB cable, which is GREAT. Buying fewer new batteries and throwing away old batteries is always a good thing. With apps, the experience is similar. You send an image to the application and it prints. However, Instax is more inconvenient as it prints over a Wi-Fi network rather than a Bluetooth connection like HP.
