With 37 birthdays and several anniversaries to keep up with, my 83 yr old mother-in-law loves having it all in one cute, decorative place. Working with the little O-rings made my fingers a little sore, but it was worth her sweet response. I painted the back side of the hearts and circles and sealed them all with clear matte spray paint. Then I added small jewel ornaments to the bottom of each month, which really helped give the plaque a finished look. It also greatly helps out those months that have nothing.Only negative is my MIL then wanted to add all her extended family who have already passed on (oh my!).may have to buy more hearts and circles.
