I bought this for my blind grandma

I am very happy with this plate. My grandmother is almost completely blind so has a hard time chasing food on her plate. Grandma always had impeccable places to eat. Unfortunately, the food became difficult and she was very embarrassed. When she finally said she wanted to eat alone, it broke my heart. I found this plate and was worried she would turn it down but in fact she was very pleased! It's durable (yes, it's been dropped multiple times!). The compartments are large enough to hold a decent amount of food. It's easy to clean since it's not too sticky, but the sharp corners and vertical sides can make it difficult to get into corners. (Vertical sides are necessary for this dish to work properly, so I think it's worth a little work.) I'd like the dish to be a darker color just because it would be easier for my grandmother to see her food. against a high-contrast background. Overall this is a great dish for our needs and we will be buying another one or two. I highly recommend it to people with poor eyesight!
