Bought for my 96 year old father , has macular degeneration and is legally blind. These dishes are perfect for him. Food no longer falls off his fork or the edge of his plate. He's a proud man and feels better when he doesn't spill food on himself, the table and the floor. My dogs hate it even though it means fewer leftovers for them. I am very happy with this plate. My grandmother is almost completely blind so has a hard time chasing food on her plate. Grandma always had impeccable places to eat.
