These are really excellent socks. Warm, well tailored, easy to put on at the calf except maybe a very tall guy. The only downside is that the X shape in front of the ankle prevents sticking. There is almost no material. That means my socks now have huge holes in them and the rest of the sock is still almost like new. Anyway, I've never had a problem with my socks, so this "feature" is really just a marketing gimmick that reduces the durability of the sock. I had holes in X in less than a year. Otherwise they probably would have existed for many years. I will probably stuff them as they are quite expensive.
