Review on Men'S Lightweight Waterproof Hiking Pants With Quick-Dry Technology And Belt For Outdoor Adventures by Tyler Owens

Decent pants but they fit small, some other small issues

I bought a pair of these to try as a "daily" type pant - you know, when you just have to run a quick errand or buy something at the store - and for the most part they fit the job. The materials are lightweight but do not feel cheap, pockets are nice, overall build is nice. However they can be better: for starters, I chose the size L based on their fitment guide, and although the waist area fits fine, the taper of the leg means that the pants feel more like a "slim fit" at the thigh and the calf area (Unfortunately I cannot return this pair anymore because I washed it prior to trying it on, otherwise I would have sized up to an XL). Second, they used a metal clip for the front enclosure, it would have been better if they used a true snap button or regular button. FInally, the included belt is too short to even use, and the buckle attached to it is made of cheap plastic. If they just dropped the belt from the package they probably could have lowered the price to make these pants a better value.

Pros
  • Multiple pockets for storing essentials like keys, phone, and wallet.
Cons
  • The fabric can easily pill and create an unsightly appearance
