Better than I expected this is a well built unit and easy to install with double sided tape which is not included. I installed this unit on my new Champion 3400 dual fuel alternator (see picture). The device works in both high speed and ECO (low speed) modes. I used masking tape first to make sure it worked. I will install 2 screws (included) later if needed. The Champion alternator is a quiet alternator with low vibration levels, but this hour meter works great with all sorts of configurations, gas, low pressure, high speed and low speed; with load and without load.
