Review on 🚐 FRUNO 300D Travel Trailer RV Cover for Winter Snow - Windproof & Anti-UV with Jack Cover and 4 Tire Covers (30'-33') by Eric Speers

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I'll update the review once the lid has been in place for a while.

We are new motorhome owners and one of the first things we were told was that you don't want to leave your trailer open in bad weather. The sun can easily damage tires, resulting in a travel situation that is not only unsafe but also costly. The weather can dull and damage the exterior, a water leak can wreck the interior - we've been warned you'll want to protect such a large investment. So I had the opportunity to get this trailer cover through the Vine program. I received it in exchange for my unbiased opinion, responsibility, and goal to be honest and fair. I pay income tax on every item I order, so this is not a free gift that affects my experience with the product. This van case has a very bright and shiny silver finish. At first glance it doesn't look strong enough to offer adequate weather protection but it is a waterproof polyester oxford with a UV protective coating. I was expecting something heavy like canvas but while light it is very dense. A friend of mine who had one of the old canvas suitcases couldn't get over how light this suitcase was. Just like me, she is curious about my results. To determine the correct size, measure your trailer bumper to bumper without the hitch. Measure ladder, spare wheel and implement height. It is well made and the fabric is practically indestructible. Since it's so light it should be easier to maneuver it on and over the trailer. However, what it looks like at first glance may not match how it will perform in the long term. This is definitely not a project for a beginner who thinks they can do it in a few hours. Since it's so easy it should be easier, but I still think it would be a two person job. We're not preparing a trailer for winter yet, since it's only August. While it looks like a well-done surface, it's too early to tell how it will perform during weather swings and after a few months of bad weather. I'm very happy with how it looks and the construction looks good. I watched a video on how to install it and the experts made it look so easy. I couldn't make a wheel cover myself, so that would be a problem! My stars at the moment are based on pre-install quality. It is a well constructed, very dense and lightweight fabric for easy handling. It has velcro, 10 straps, vents, reinforced elastic edges and a rollable panel. It comes with a trailer cover, 4 wheel covers, a jack cover, two wind straps, six manhole covers and a self-adhesive repair kit in strong packaging. storage bag. We have a big cross country drive ahead of us then we park it. I will refrain from judging how this works until I have more information. I will update my review later.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging
