I have long and narrow legs. While these sandals fit when the straps are tight, the opposing Velcro does not stretch long enough to bond the ends. The straps flap. So I had to add some velcro to the straps. At least I can play golf! Due to an accident where my foot was blocked by a wall, I have a huge toenail that doesn't fit in shoes. So I'm thankful for the sandals. Will this be my ideal choice? No way. Sandals do not provide the stability that shoes do. There's a lot of padding underfoot, which is comfortable, but the soft material reduces stability. Also, there are no pillows on the straps. And despite having multiple adjustable straps, my foot still slips in it, especially when the foot gets a sweat. I don't think I can wear them in the summer heat - the material that comes in contact with the feet is too smooth to keep sweat off the feet.
