I kayak a lot. And sometimes you get stuck in the middle of a river without a bank and you have to go. Well, that sounded great - it could be used while seated! Since I didn't want to potentially fill my kayak with urine, I decided to try it in the shower first. So, fully dressed, I sat down, pulled my pants and panties up over my raised knees with difficulty, then used two fingers to undo the pouch as instructed, pinched it firmly against my urethra (yes, I know, endure), double-checked, if he sat up, and quickly... felt half the urine ooze out the bottom seam and pool around my ass and then run down the tub to my feet. It may have been an operator error. But now I had a wet sack, a wet back and wet feet. Maybe I should have put my knees on the floor? But it was definitely a failure and required an immediate shower. Now for the good points: (1) the piece of foam that goes around your female parts is very comfortable; (2) the liquid that went into the bag was absorbed in seconds; and (3) As promised, the bag closed very securely (I folded it and it didn't even let air through). So I can definitely say that being able to pee directly on the x-axis (standing, crouching) works REALLY WELL. It's worth 3.5 stars for that, rounded up to 4. But he said you can sit, and now that's a big rejection of my test. So, for the ladies who can sit - especially in a capsized kayak with no nice manly parts to aim with, I don't know if I can recommend that (at least if you're not sitting with your feet on the ground, but with bent knees as if standing on footrests). That being said, I have ten, so I'll keep trying.
