This kit worked great on my 2007 Sorento. Yes, you will need to trim the tabs at the top and bottom to fit. (additional tabs for Kia Rio) This is very common on dashboard kits. I have been a professional installer for 10 years and have done thousands of patio installations. This high quality kit will match the look of your dashboard and fill in any gaps. My new Pioneer 2 din radio looks like it came with my car.
