Note to parents, my daughter wears 2 youth shoes in normal street shoes, I had to buy 3.5 youth shoes for my daughter. Her feet are a bit wide, we tried 3 youngsters and they were very tight and that might be because of that. The shoes are a bit narrow compared to other brands, which is good for children with narrow feet. For these types of shoes (character shoes) youth sizing is limited to size 3 or 3.5, but note that size 4 in women's sizes will be different as women's sizing differs from youth sizing. If they had a youth size 4 and a women's size 4, the youth style 4 shoes would be larger. Because of this, when buying a women's size for a child for my daughter, I had to choose a women's size 4.5 (vs. 3.5 for teens). Another thing to keep in mind is that every brand works differently, we tried women's sizes. 4 different brands and this was great for them. My advice to you is if you buy a size from a particular brand and it doesn't fit you, order a size up or down from the same brand to find a match. Otherwise it will be very difficult to find a suitable partner for your child.
